Excellent and timely service
I have looked forward to purchasing the Amish Hickory (rocker) for years. However, with the surface of our back area, my husband felt it better to get the glider instead. I agree with most about the directions. They are not "awful", but definitely lacking. (May the company could place a tutorial on their website.)
We went line by by line, slowly, and progressed, while only being unable to locate one hole! Also, I agree with a few who stated the glider is not as comfortable as the rocker. I had only sat in rockers and they fit me like a glove. I need a strong lumbar support. You can see the lumbar support is not as pronounced as the rockers (in pictures, anyway). The fame of the back looks the same as in the rocker, so not sure why they are different. If feel sure there is a good explanation. Nonetheless, I am pleased and will be enjoying for many years. At a later date, we will be ordering rockers for the front (smooth surface) and can enjoy them both.
The chairs are comfortable and glide super smooth, but know that they come in pieces, in flat boxes you will have to put them together, if you are not handy good luck because the directions are a joke very hard to understand but I finally figured it out, very sturdy after together
Nice design and materials and pretty easy to assemble. We did put the glider bolts in backward top and bottom but they seem just fine reversed (less likely to catch someone since they don't stick out).
It's very comfortable and looks great.
How much weight can these hold? And the rockers ?
Both items are rated to hold 300 lbs.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Have a great day - Jeffrey
Are these meant to be left outdoors (not on porch)? Would love to try them under an oak tree. Thanks
The hickory furniture is intended for indoor use or a covered porch. You would not want this furniture exposed to the weather
Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with
Are cushions for the Glider and ottoman available?
Unfortunately we do not have cushions for these items.
Im sorry we could not accomodate you
