ABOUT LEISURE LAWNS
Leisure Lawns Collection was built on the heritage and tradition of quality Amish craftsmanship. In 1987, a young Amish farmer in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, started building wooden lawn furniture as a way to supplement his income. As he began offering them for sale at local farmers markets and shops, the customer interest grew. He began expanding his product line to include more wooden lawn furniture. Years later, the introduction of maintenance-free poly brought more changes to the Leisure Lawns Collection. Many of the wooden styles were adapted to poly, making the furniture more durable and colorful. Leisure Lawns has now been producing poly furniture for fourteen years and continues to introduce new designs and continues to improve on their other designs. Eventually, Leisure Lawns outgrew its space on the farm and moved to a larger facility in New Holland, PA. We now operate in a 9,000 square foot manufacturing facility with a 16,000 square foot warehouse. This increased warehouse space allows us to keep more inventory on hand, helping to ship products in a timely manner. After 30 years in business, Leisure Lawns Collections is still run by a family member of the Amish farmer who started the business. Leisure Lawns is continuously improving its products and adding new ones and is now shipping furniture all over the United States and Canada. Bought this glider two years ago. It sits on my back deck exposed to the elements until winter when I put a cover on it. It glides like a dream, still. It looks like I just bought it last week. It glides/rocks when the wind blows. It’s the nicest outdoor furniture I’ve ever owned & when I get my porch covered/enlarged in the next year or so, I will be looking at this site for more
This glider is sooooo worth the money. If the wind blows it glides by itself. Major heavy duty. Been exposed to the elements for a year and it still looks like new. Comfortable, absolutely silent when gliding, built solid, couldn’t be more pleased. Fixing to cover my porch, so this jewel will last a long time.
Due to covid, took an extra month to get here but oh so worth the wait. Had to make trip to hardware store as not enough 3” bolts to connect frame with gliding mechanism but put together in about 30 minutes. Deck is not covered, so hoping recycled plastic will hold up against elements for a long time. Sits & glides so easily & quietly. Very well made. Plan to give another review a year from now as time will tell how well it holds up. Love the high back & easily lay down & look at stars. Great purchase. The only reason for the 4 rating was having to go get needed hardware.
